Our sofa covers can be removed in no time and washed in any standard washing machine. You can use any detergent you like. This way, you know exactly what's on the fabric. There's no doubt about whether the fabric contains any harmful substances.
What references exist and how do they differ?
We offer you three different types of fabric: Vellare, Mollia and cotton.
The Vellare fabric offers the advantage of being extremely durable. It is tightly woven, so human and pet hair stays on the surface and doesn't penetrate the fabric. An added safety benefit: the fabric is flame-retardant, providing extra safety for you, your family, and your friends.
Our Mollia fabrics are soft and have a velvety feel. Because the fabric is woven in a linear pattern, many stains can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth or paper towel. This fabric also effectively combats unwanted pet hair. The tight weave makes it difficult for hair to penetrate the fabric, keeping it on the surface. Even claws and teeth are no match for Mollia fabric.
We also offer sofa covers made of cotton. You already know how cotton feels against your skin. The fashion industry has been enthusiastic about this durable fabric for centuries. Cotton is easy to clean, absorbs the scents of your favorite detergent for a long time, and is also flame-resistant. This fabric is also suitable for homes with pets.
Tips for caring for removable sofa covers
Our sofa covers are very durable; you can't really go wrong with them. However, to ensure you get the most out of our products for as long as possible, here are a few tips for you:
The right washing machine program
If the cover is only lightly soiled, you can safely wash it at 20-30 degrees Celsius. Light stains like yogurt or dust are easily removed at 20 degrees, and the material won't be overstressed. If the fabric is heavily soiled, you can wash it at 30 degrees. This kills almost all bacteria, ensuring extra cleanliness in your home.
If the fabric only smells unpleasant, for example of cigarette smoke, it can be washed at temperatures as low as 20 degrees Celsius. This program is also recommended to avoid unnecessary environmental impact.
How often should I wash the covers?
That's entirely up to you. For allergy sufferers, it's recommended to wash the covers once a week. If there are people with sensitive immune systems in your household, you can also wash the covers more often to avoid any unnecessary risks.
